Describe how you found you animal’s DNA?

First, I looked at the Feature from our animals because we have to using that to find the Amiao Acid. Amiao Acid have code. Like: Start-Gly-Phe-Arp-Stop. This Amiao Acid is no teeth.QQ截图20150423172233QQ截图20150423172249

Then we will use this table to let amiao acid change to mRNA. So no teeth’s amiao acid is Start-Gly-Phe-Arp-Stop. Then just follow the table. Start-Gly-Phe-Arp-Stop will change to AUG-GGU-UUU-AGA-UGA. So AUG-GGU-UUU-AGA-UGA is mRNA now.

Last,using mRNA to chane to half of strand DNA.  It’s was easy, just follow this rule.

So, our no teeth’s mRNA is AUG-GGU-UUU-AGA-UGA

Then we will use a half of strand DNA to make anthor half of strand DNA. But this rule is different with mRNA change to DNA.

What is DNA, and why is DNA important?

DNA:Deoxyribonucleic acid is a molecule that encodes genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known organisms and many viruses.It is what makes you unique and alive. DNA that tells the cells how they should work. Without DNA, there is no cell division and thus no growth.

Steps of Translation:

Initiation:when a thing(a small subunit of a ribosome charged with a tRNA+the amino acid methionine) met mRNA, it will begin to check it. If it is the anti-codon of the mRNA codons matching base pairs and its ribosome linkable two amino acids together. Some cells require large amounts of specific proteins. Protein is usually converted some further changes, it becomes fully functional.

Step Motion Video Describe how you made the video. Describe how you made the animal. Reflect on how your group worked together to make the animal.

             In this project my group and I work together to make our own alien animal, and our video. In the Video we show each steps and how many day we worked on video. To make this video, we use a program called Jelly Cam. Jellycam takes only picture but with the help of conver.files, we turned pictures into videos and we can edit in Imovie. To make Our animal we use clay, water, tape, tin foil and different tools and in video you can see all how we did it. To make this animal we work together with our animal and everybody had their own part that they do and own responsible and its good to work with group because if u don’t understand they help you.
